Retail operations
Fifteen years of operations work: schedules, staffing, inventory, and customers who needed something handled today, not next week. Showing up on time was the whole job.

Why the path matters at the table.
I have originated loans, so I know what a closer sees when a package comes back with a missed initial, and I know the questions a signer will ask about the numbers and that those questions go back to the lender rather than get answered by me. I have run operations for years, so an order at 4:40 pm gets a confirmed time, not a voicemail, and scan-backs are available on request. And I spent a decade in software, where a single wrong character stops everything, which is the right amount of care for a document that a county recorder will keep on file for a very long time.
